In depth

Verdict

Monkey Milan had Scales behind when scoring at Newcastle last month and despite a 7lb rise, he still makes more appeal than Be My Light, who looks high enough in the weights at present. The winning run of Royal Entourage came to end over these hurdles last time but he was only narrowly beaten and should be in the firing-line once again while the likes of Kadouchski and Mirific could make the frame. POLLEN JOCK never threatened in better company here in September but had landed a double at this track previously and a chance is taken there is further improvement in him on his seasonal debut.
