Verdict

A modest handicap in which Spice Bar boasts some of the best recent form on offer having finished second off this mark at Southwell six days ago and he has leading claims as a result. He is worth taking on with MARINO PRINCE who hails from the yard that picked up this prize last year; the gelding has never finished in the money in 18 previous starts over hurdles but it would be no surprise to see him do so on debut for his Lewes based handler. Trans Sonic has been in good form on the level of late and may be able to improve on his previous hurdling efforts which came for another yard whilst cheekpieces may bring about some improvement from Pinewood Legend.
