Verdict

Silver Lily returns to action off a 6lb higher mark than when scoring over 2m1f here in June, though Carey Williamson's claim is worth more than that. The mare is taken on, however, with MY BROTHER SYLVEST who has tumbled down the weights over last few months. If he was able to reproduce the form of his fourth to Alarazi at Leicester in November, he'd make short work of these. Stand Clear was well beaten in a couple of starts earlier in the year and this is probably a bit early in the season to be supporting a Ferdy Murphy runner, while Diamond MM was beaten when falling at Uttoxeter last time. Cunning Clarets could figure if fully wound-up but the others are hard to fancy.
