    Verdict

Silver Seeker returned from a long absence to score at Catterick last time and while he has disappointed second time out in the past, we will give him the vote with Wun Chai, Role On and Mister Wiseman, at bigger odds others to consider. Silver Seeker won a contest run at a good pace and stayed on in the manner of a horse who will relish this step up in distance. He has recieved a 9lb hike for that victory but the increased distance should bring about the desired improvement. Role On is an unexposed sort who ran a very eyecatching race in defeat at Doncaster. The quicker surface will suit as will the extra two furlongs on the evidence of his 2 1/2l second behind the smart mare Accordello at Kelso in November. Wun Chai was a fortuatious winner on his penultimate start but proved that no fluke when finishing front of Poppy Maroon once again at Wincanton. An extra 10lb for that victory may just anchor him here. Mister Wiseman represents a yard that have the ability to prime one for the occasion and while he has it all to do on recent form, he showed some promise in a Wincanton novice hurdle at the beginning of the year. Silver Seeker will relish the step up in trip and is taken to score.
