Verdict

Tim Walford and Dougie Costello can complete a double via SHIMLA DAWN, who followed an emphatic victory over this course and distance on his handicap debut with a fine effort after a 13lb rise in the weights when just a head behind Embsay Crag in a better race at Wetherby. Maxed Out King looks a threat as he was staying on strongly in the testing ground over 2m4f at Sedgefield on his hurdling debut. Panama Petrus was having his first start in a year when only fading from the last at Towcester in November and will improve but winning point-to-pointer Spookydooky hasn't taken to hurdling yet. Tracking Time ran better than expected at Warwick last time though that was over the minimum trip and Owen Na View was weakening when falling at the second last at Leicester.
