      Verdict

A bumper rounds off the card and as usual in these events the market will be very informative but the principals look to be Finney, Predictive and Wolf Warning and the vote is given to Finney. The selection was a good second on his debut behind The Nightingale and given nominal improvement he will be hard to beat. Predictive was third on his debut behind Hells Bay and is another that is sure to improve but the suspicion is he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time. Wolf Warning is a Loup Sauvage gelding, half-brother to winning miler Starboard Light and if he stays the trip he would have definite place claims. Of the remainder In Vino shaped with promise on his debut and is another that is sure to improve but for the winner we are happy to return to Finney to small stakes.
