    In depth

    Verdict

Anton Dolin is an interesting newcomer here for Richard Newland as he won three times on the Flat in 2011 for John Dunlop. The soft ground is a worry, however, and ZARZAL also sets a very decent standard on the form he's shown so far over hurdles. Evan Williams' four-year-old twice ran well behind the classy Grumeti last season and looked as though his turn wasn't far away when second to Karazhan over C&D 11 days ago. Calaf, who started favourite at Musselburgh on his second start over timber, may do better now tackling softer going and looks best of the rest ahead of winning pointer Chiquilline.
