Verdict

MANDY'S BOY was quite highly tried in his first season over hurdles. He went close at Warwick in December and again at Stratford in March and should be up to breaking his duck in a race like this. Muckle Roe may be the danger if reproducing his second over track and trip in January as he was taking on better opposition over a longer trip on his only subsequent start. That pair are preferred to Unex Modigliani, disappointing when odds-on at Plumpton after a second at Huntingdon. Don Padeja may need more time but Troyan could make the frame.
