    In depth

    Verdict

Akula appears to be the best of those with experience following a fair debut in a traditionally warm heat at Market Rasen but CARACAL is a likely looking sort on this switch to hurdling. This fair Flat maiden has had two recent runs on the level to blow away the cobwebs after a summer break and is a token suggestion in a race where there is little to go on. The market is likely to be useful in assessing the chances of the selection and those of his opponents and Until The Man is one to keep a close eye on whilst it would be no surprise to see Resolute Road leave his soft ground run at Perth behind on this better surface. Jazz Age was of a similar level of ability to the selection on the level, has also joined a top yard and is another to note.
