In depth

Verdict

THE COCKNEY MACKEM didn't do a lot wrong when chasing home Kells Belle on his hurdling bow over today's C&D last month. Paddy Brennan's mount will have learned plenty from that and should take all the beating today. Hereford fourth Ballagio will probably do better over further in time and Flichity's best run so far was over 2m5f here in November. Furrows caused a 66/1 upset at Wincanton in January but may not have beaten much that day and it remains to be seen if he can build on that here under a penalty.
