Verdict

CIRRUS DES AIGLES won this in 2010 and was beaten a neck by Byword a year ago before landing the Champion Stakes. He's since won twice at the highest level but hasn't been seen since disqualified from second in the Prix D'Ispahan in May after an illegal substance was found in his system. He's obviously by far the best horse in this but often needs a run after a break so punters beware. Hunter's Light is going from strength-to-strength though it's difficult to equate his very easy victory in Turkey last time on Polytrack with today's soft ground. Green Destiny beat the useful Mikhail Glinka but his run behind the same horse in Germany last time should be completely ignored. Any further rain would aid Colombian, who ploughed through the Sandown mud to easily land the Group 3 Gordon Richards Stakes in April.
