      Verdict

No three-year-old has won this so far and two of the last three winners started 25/1 and 33/1. Gypsy King is regarded as a staying prospect at Ballydoyle and attempted to make all when stepped up to 1m4f at the Curragh in June. He fought back to dead-heat after being headed and this trip should prove ideal on his handicap debut. He's an obvious threat to all with further progress likely but there are no stamina issues with GIANT'S QUEST and Harry Rogers' charge, a winner of seven of his 25 career starts including three over hurdles, can get back on the winning trail after just failing to concede Kalann 11lb at the Curragh. Toreen Legend gave Notable Graduate 10lb and a beating at Gowran, when Cebuano was behind, and the runner-up has scored subsequently so a 4lb rise for Tommy Stack's charge isn't excessive. Modem did well to finish runner-up to the in-form Winter Lion at Killarney though a 4lb rise won't help but Face Value could be the fly in the ointment here as he's produced some excellent form at this time of the year in the past and is very well handicapped if recapturing that form.
