Verdict

No Wunder has been threatening to win for some time but David Wachman just can't find the right race for him. The ground and trip are in his favour and he'll be thereabouts again. MUTAWED began life with Freddie Head in France and was having his first start for new connection when fourth behind The Scourge at Down Royal last week. That was his first run since May so improvement is expected and he can get off the mark. King Schultz was a 50/1 chance when runner-up over this trip at Leopardstown in July so it was a surprise when he was sent to contest a 1m4f maiden at Leopardstown a month later where he finished a long way last. Celestial Fable followed two very good runs over this trip before running poorly over an extra furlong at Wexford while Dermot Weld's newcomer Katimavik is one to note as the stable have a good record in this race.
