Verdict

Longfield Lad is looking well treated but has so far failed to take advantage of a dropping handicap mark and is still a maiden on Turf after 18 runs. Doc Holliday has been raised 5lb for his first success on Turf at the Curragh but Robbie Downey's claim takes care of that and Eddie Lynam's charge should go well. Miller Beach is in superb form and would have been the selection over another furlong while In Salutem has been running very well over shorter but has no problems with this trip. BEAU SATCHEL has won twice over the trip recently and also gone close over a mile. He'd prefer some rain but handles good ground and he's taken to get back on the winning trail. Togoville has shot up the weights and would be better back on the all-weather while Burren View Lady won five races for Tim Easterby, all over 6f, and will be scoring again soon for Denis Hogan though probably over shorter than today's trip.
