Verdict

Kings Speaker started favourite on his debut at Downpatrick but was beaten a long way and is difficult to fancy. CASEY RYBACK attempted to make all at Killarney and looked like doing so until collared by Spa Hill. That was over an extra furlong so this should prove ideal and he can gain compensation. No Cash Flow made a fine start to his career at Roscommon where he just failed to catch Queen Alphabet. With improvement guaranteed he'll take some beating while Jim Bolger has a rare bumper runner with Sukiyaki, a very close fourth in a strong Galway bumper before running out when in the lead there next time.
