Verdict

Exotic made a winning debut at Galway in August but has been virtually tailed off in his two starts this year. TAGLIETELLE has been in good form and the ex-Andrew Balding inmate, a very close third in a stronger handicap at the Curragh in April, should be up to winning this. Hisaabaat has the ability to win at this level and the softer the ground the better for Dermot Weld's charge. Gimli's Rock arrives on the back of a smooth victory over three rivals in a hurdles race over 3m at Kilbeggan but Ibsen has gone up 10lb for his two latest placed efforts. In A Nutshell reappeared over hurdles just over a week ago after a break of almost two years. If Charles Byrnes has him restored to full health he'll be on the premises and the market should be watched for clues. Fairy Court has been going well on Polytrack but has shot up 14lb in the ratings for his lone success in January.
