Verdict

Brocklebank's recent winning form has come in claimers and he's likely to get found out in this better race. Cut Across is creeping up the weights but his consistency can't be faulted and he'll be thereabouts if blinkers bring about a little more improvement. Recent C&D winner Sunshine Always is another arriving in fine form and stablemate Saharia also has claims, though he would probably prefer an extra furlong. KUNG HEI FAT CHOY, which loosely translates as Happy New Year, has yet to win in this grade but appeared to have a bit in hand over C&D earlier this month, his first start at Lingfield. He gets a seasonal vote to follow up.
