Verdict

CLOUD ILLUSIONS had shown some progress on the turf before making her recent Polytrack debut over 7f at Wolverhampton. She just failed to hold off the well-regarded favourite on that occasion, with today's rival Big City Boy tailed off, and Heather Main's filly looks capable of going one better here. Les Verguettes also went close on her latest start at Kempton and will be winning soon, but Litotes may need more time before she's seen at her best and Littleportnbrandy is returning from a lay-off.
