Verdict

A field large in numbers but low in quality and on closer inspection not many can be given a serious chance of winning and the principals look to be Cello, Count Dracula and Ashstanza and the confident vote goes to Cello. The colt from the Richard Hannonn yard was a fair fifth behind State Dilemma last time and that form has since been franked so a reproduction of that effort would make him hard to beat. Count Dracula showed improved form last time out when second behind Celtic Heroine and if he improved again he would have place claims.Ashstanza is also worthy of respect she is a well bred filly by Ashkalani and is sure to have learnt from her debut effort so is worth noting in the market. Of the remainder Indian Edge has shown enough ability in better races to suggest he can run into a place but the confident vote goes to Cello.
