Verdict

BOLD CUFFS had a couple of outings on the Fibresand last December and finished runner-up on both occasions. There's no reason why he shouldn't handle this surface and every reason to think he'll improve for the longer trip. Sir Mark Prescott's charge gets the vote as Exning Halt hasn't looked like winning so far despite finishing closer at Doncaster last time though Christingle should improve on her debut third at Chepstow but she'll need to if she's to figure. The newcomer Altaria is related to a couple of winners and is one to note but Elegant Ophelia's recent second came in a seller and this is tougher.
