Verdict

An eight-race card gets under way with a fillies' maiden in which Little Miss Wizzy gets the vote over Fly Time, with Babylon Sister and Bertrada worth a mention at least. Little Miss Wizzy is a half-sister to six winners including Mr Lambros who was successful plenty of times over seven furlongs to a mile. Therein lies the key to her future, as she shaped well when staying on over six furlongs on her Nottingham debut. The experience will not be lost on Michael Bell's filly who is taken to open her account on this first attempt on the Polytrack. Fly Time has had five outings already, so is proving a bit costly to follow. However, she too steps up to a trip more in keeping with her breeding, and as she has had an outing here already in the past, should go well. Babylon Sister was disappointing when sent off favourite at Bath, but the going was soft and she may fare better here, while Bertrada was last of 15 on her Newbury bow and can only improve. All in all, Little Miss Wizzy has the best claims overall.
