Verdict

TRIP SWITCH has been in stellar form since mid-December with four wins and two seconds from six outings. The six-year-old appeared better than ever last time when easily disposing of Princess Lexi and company over C&D and looks in the mood to defy an 8lb rise for that success. Aviso is another in-form sort and seeks a 17-day hat-trick on the level, although his latest visit to the track saw a cosy success in a Ludlow claiming hurdle. He's clearly at the top of his form too and rates the prime danger. Whodunit, disappointing last time but undoubtedly capable of far better, and Hurricane Hymnbook, in good form on Polytrack this winter, are also respected in a competitive contest.
