Verdict

John Gosden's all-weather team looks to be firing now and COTTON TRADER can add another winner to the stable's tally. He was beaten only a head by the former Ballydoyle inmate Canary Wharf at Wolverhampton last time and is likely to start a short-price to go one better here. Three Bards stepped up on a poor debut effort on turf to go close over C&D earlier this month. He makes more appeal than Bramshill Lass and Never Satisfied, while newcomer Roughlyn is a half-brother to the useful Pawn Broker and Guys And Dolls amongst others and he's worth noting along with 32,000 euro purchase Cuore.
