    Verdict

Conrad is a speculative choice ahead of Millfields Dreams, Lucayos and Inch By Inch to name but three dangers. In truth nothing appeals as a stand-out selection here, so only the smallest of wagers is recommended on Conrad who should at least be fitter after his comeback run at Southwell 16-days ago. That was over seven furlongs, and prior to that he had been tried twice over a mile, but his pedigree suggests that he should be persevered with over six furlongs, a statement endorsed by the fact that his sole victory to date came over that trip at Pontefract in August. Millfields Dreams also goes well over today's trip, and indeed was considered very unlucky-in-running last time when all dressed up with nowhere to go after being dropped out from his wide draw. Off bottom-weight he should go well along with Lucayos, although Heidi Sweeting's charge in contrast has to give weight away all round. Inch By Inch has won over track-and-trip in the past so has to be given a mention as well, but he has not been in the best of form lately. With that in mind, we would rather side with Conrad.
