In depth

Verdict

BINT ALZAIN had a busy 2012 running 18 times with three Polytrack victories. She's comfortably the pick on official ratings and looked in need of her reappearance here on Sunday when last of four but beaten only a length. Speak The Truth has gained six of his eight Polytrack victories on this track, though never over this far, while Flavius Victor gained his only career success over the track and trip in December and he's definitely better than he showed at Kempton three weeks ago. Kingswinford has won 10 races but none of them on the all-weather and though Electrician has won twice here both races have been over further. Abhaath, who was engaged in the opener here yesterday, has only won once in 26 starts and has been unable to take advantage of a drop in the weights recently.
