Verdict

Exceedexpectations sauntered to a six length win over track and trip last time so it was no surprise to see him raised 10lb. He'll do well to shrug off that hike in the weights and the lightly-raced PRESIDENTE makes more appeal. He has shown only modest form in maidens so far but better is expected now handicapping for the first time. Passing By is a course and distance winner and has slipped down the weights after three subsequent outings over 1m2f while Misstemper steps up in distance after scoring over 6f at Southwell. Mister Mayday has been thereabouts of late without being quite good enough.
