In depth

Verdict

Recent winner Pearl Farm can win again at the main expense of Union Jack Jackson and Nikki Bea. The selection had Nikki Bea back in third when scoring last month but with a 3lb pull in the weights the latter is entitled to finish closer. However, Pearl Farm's style of arriving late may mean that the handicapper could struggle to catch up with him. Union Jack Jackson has won three of his last four and must be on anyones shortlist, especially as he still looks on a decent mark despite a 6lb penalty. Lucius Verrus needs some help from the handicapper, as does Miss Wedge. Danish Blues is consistent and merits consideration along with Millfield who keeps tumbling down the weights and must win soon. An open affair then, in which Pearl Farm can score again.
