Verdict

ROCK A DOODLE DO left a good impression when winning at Wolverhampton earlier in the week and can follow up here at the main expense of Bubbly Braveheart and Astronomer's Dream. The selection has to defy a penalty for that Dunstall Park victory, when he was a ready scorer over 1m 1f, and pedigree suggests that this step up in trip will elicit further improvement, so we are happy to side with him. Bubbly Braveheart has just a sole seller win to his name so far, but looks competitive enough from this sort of mark, though his best form so far has been on the slightly slower Wolverhampton surface. Anchorage Boy is interesting now visored for the first time and kept over this trip and a market check is advised where he is concerned, while Astronomer's Dream comes from an in-form stable and looks sure to show much more now stepped up to this trip for the first time. Creevy has a tough enough task from out of the handicap and we prefer to stick with Rock A Doodle Do to defy that penalty.
