In depth

Verdict

WILFRED PICKLES is given one last chance to get off the mark. The best of his turf form and his close-up second to the progressive Final Drive over C&D last time make Jo Crowley's charge the one to beat. South African import D'Artagnan showed promise on his British debut at Wolverhampton and it shouldn't be long before he's winning and Penbryn is steadily improving with racing. Abigails Angel went close in a seller here last time but is facing a tough task on today's terms.
