      Verdict

Hollow Joe appreciated the drop back to six furlongs when winning last time out at Kempton and is taken to confirm the placings with Dvinsky, whilst the consistent Bobby Rose rates as a danger. The selection got his reward for his consistency over the winter when winning at Kempton, and could be up to defying his 6lb penalty for that victory. He wouldn't have minded a step back up to seven furlongs, however he coped well last time and could do so again. Dvinsky is yet to win on the all-weather, although Paul Howling's charge is consistent although arguably better over seven furlongs. In-form Brett Doyle takes the ride on Bobby Rose and from his plum draw he could go very close if settling slightly better than he has in the past. Of the rest, George The Second could plug on into a place, whilst Muscari is very consistent so also rates a threat. Overall though, in a tricky handicap, we will side with recent winner Hollow Joe.
