Verdict

Lake Verdi, Zinging and Fairgame Man are three against the field in this weak affair and the vote is given to Lake Verdi. The selection was a little disappointing on the turf at Folkestone last time, but he has put up a series of creditable efforts on the AW on this track and he should be good enough to see off his rivals here. Zinging is quite useful on his day, but his best form is over further than this and he might just lack the speed nowadays to get his head in front over the minimum trip. Fairgame Man is difficult to catch right and he may be best watched on his first try on the AW here. Ela Figura is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market, but for the winner we return to Lake Verdi.
