    Verdict

Plenty with claims in this contest but it could pay to stick with ARCTIC LYNX. He showed a good turn of foot to score over C&D on his latest start and a 4lb rise for that success could prove to be lenient. John Best's gelding can confirm superiority with Tislaam who is closely matched with Pipers Piping, Prize Point and Chjimes on latest running. The latter was beaten by Waterloo Dock here earlier in the month but Mick Quinn's charge is facing a tougher task in this company and recent C&D winner Waabel makes more appeal.
