Verdict

WIBBADUNE can land this competitive handicap, and gets the nod just ahead of Desperate Dan and Silvanus. The selection's never won off such a high mark as she's got now, but came close when second last time out, when maybe she was a little unlucky. A similar sort of run to that could see her win for the first time since June. A strong pace will aid her cause. Desperate Dan returns to the all-weather for the first time since May. He's certainly capable of this mark and may have finished better last time out but for some trouble in running. Willie Haggas' runner Silvanus has been expensive to follow. A 140,000 Guineas purchase 2 years ago, he ran a shocker last time out following a lay-off after winning a modest maiden previously. Backers are due another payday though. Plenty seem to have chances, but we'll side with Wibbadune.
