In depth

Verdict

The Golden Rose, run here in November, is usually a good pointer to this and INTRANSIGENT won that event on his latest start beating a subsequent Listed winner. Andrew Balding's charge can go in again despite a 3lb penalty. Alben Star has every chance on today's terms but has not raced since October while Foxtrot Romeo is worth a try in this grade having won a decent handicap at Wolverhampton with Hallelujah behind. Glen Moss has proved best over 7f so far but Rivellino was beaten only a short-head in last year's renewal and can figure. History Book scored over track and trip last time beating Go Far a length but both have something to find at the weights in this.
