        Verdict

        GREAT CRESTED got off the mark with an easy win over 7f at Kempton on Monday. He went close over today's trip before that and can defy a penalty in this modest company. Bertie Moon posted his best effort so far when runner-up at Kempton last time and has more scope than Wolverhampton winner Compton Silver but the remainder are harder to fancy. Sutton Sid landed a seller over track and trip last month and could prove best of them ahead of Whitford.
