      Verdict

      TAROOQ looked more like his old self when third behind subsequent Listed winner Pretend at Wolverhampton. He had beaten Head Space in a claimer over 5f here before that and can confirm running despite the worse terms. A course and distance winner in August, Dissent may prove next best at the weights as he drops in class along with Steventon Star and Only Ten Per Cent but Stage Girl looks up against it on these terms.
