Verdict

Plenty with claims in this. Noguchi went close in a claimer on his first start of the year and has scope for improvement while Cayuga scored on the Turf track here in August and has his first start since. Both Odin and Kaafel ran below par last time but have a good shout on their earlier efforts and Parigino and Sheila's Buddy are others worthy of consideration. However, a punt is taken on topweight EMMA'S GIFT, a C&D winner off a higher mark early in the year and weighted to confirm that form with today's rival Tornado Force.
