Verdict

This is far from the greatest of contests to have been staged on Lingfield's Polytrack and ANJUNA BEACH is a token selection under the circumstances. Gary Moore's gelding had an abortive spell over hurdles before returning to the Flat, and while a recent performance at Brighton was unmemorable, he is a previous winner on Kempton's Polytrack and he does stay further than this trip. Elegant Orphelia is turned out quickly after victory in a claimer and Dean Ivory's mare may yet be able to follow up. Godolphin cast-off Tin Pan Alley shaped well on a recent start over course and distance and he could be capable of going one better on his first appearance for Andy Turnell. Mr Lando regularly places in low-grade handicaps and is sure to be thereabouts again.
