Verdict

We'll take JARROW to land this maiden at the expense of Picnic Party and newcomer Final Turn. Mark Johnston's colt ran a very promising race on debut at Doncaster earlier this month, only narrowly giving way to a rival with a fitness and experience advantage and with that run firmly under the belt this colt should take some beating for a stable continuing to fire in the winners. Picnic Party is another having her second outing here and Ryan Moore's mount showed up well for a long way at Nottingham when well supported in the market. The stables runners usually come on for the run and so better can be expected today. The other two horses with racecourse experience look modest so Henry Candy's debutant Final Turn can prove best of the rest as a youngster bred to sprint, whilst Jeremy Noseda saddles a newcomer in the shape of Sahara and it will be interesting to see how he shapes in the betting particularly in relation to stablemate Picnic Party, but Jarrow is our idea of the winner and he is taken to open his account at the second time of asking.
