In depth

Verdict

Arr' Kid has been impressive on the Fibresand but was easily brushed aside by Villa Royale on Polytrack at Wolverhampton two runs ago and this even quicker surface might be a problem. LITIGANT beat Duchess Of Gazeley, Communicator and subsequent Kempton scorer Castilo Del Diablo over course and distance at the start of last month and looks to have been aimed at this. Seamus Durack's charge can get the better of Arch Villain, who only had a head to spare over Communicator here in January. Mark Johnston runs Blue Wave and proven stayer Hunting Ground with Joe Fanning preferring the latter even though the former is rated 6lb higher and has won four times since the turn of the year. Swing Alone has a chance at the weights but may find the trip beyond him.
