Verdict

Masterpaver held off the attentions of Blossom Lane to score by a head at Wolverhampton last time. Both should figure once again, while Dutchartcollector produced a late run to prevail over a mile at Kempton on his handicap bow when giving the impression this longer trip would suit. But MARY LE BOW may prove better value given she was unfancied when running on strongly to take fourth over a shorter trip here last month. There should be more to come over middle-distances as she goes handicapping for the first time and Lucy Wadham's filly is preferred to Ede's The Business, another bred for today's trip and not beaten far when fifth over 8f at Kempton.
