John Gosden has a strong hand with Falling Petals, placed at Ascot on her debut back in May and Nancy Astor, a runner-up at Lingfield in October. But a speculative vote goes to BALAYAGE, who was nearer last as they turned for home at Kempton on his debut but caught the eye making up late ground to finish third. This extra distance should suit on that evidence. Moon Eyes and Dutchess Of Art are worth noting but Middle England makes most appeal of the newcomers related to high-class winners in Australia.
