Dire fare but FANTASY FIGHTER is the least unappealing of this bunch though Kindallachan and Green Velvet have obvious claims on the formbook. John Quinn's charge landed something of a gamble in an apprentice race at Great Leighs and with no penalty accrued for that success, he has few excuses of a follow up. Kindallachan has a rare booking in Michael Hills this afternoon. A winner at Kempton and Wolverhampton, the mare is yet to trouble the judge here. Green Velvet has had less racing than most. The filly finished ahead of some better rated sorts in a recent seller at the track but the race didn't look anything to get excited about. Bollin Franny's winning ratio of 1-23 says it all but his placing ratio is slightly better. Charmel's Lad stays further than this so it would be no surprise to see him go well. Night Prospector is a mainstay of weak events such as this. Willhewiz is perfectly capable though is on a losing run that has become worrying. Fantasy Fighter is the pick in a race where winning form is in distinctly short supply.
