In depth

Verdict

Tony Carroll's Malice Or Mischief, has been running well at Wolverhampton in recent starts but he may be better on the slower Polytrack surface at Dunstall Park than here having disappointed at Kempton and a better bet may be AZLAA, who gets the verdict. Richard Hannon's filly won well at Wolverhampton last month before a below par effort at the same venue the following week when the race may have come too soon so she looks worth another chance. The Barry Hills-trained Lady Bridget has shown a decent level of form in three runs in maidens and makes more appeal first time in this grade than Mark Usher's History Repeating, who ran better at Kempton last time but has generally been disappointing. Recent Kempton third Night Witch is another to consider but it is Azlaa that gets the vote.
