Verdict

Lilac Tree made a respectable debut when runner-up at Wolverhampton in August but stablemate and 1,200,000 dollar purchase Price Is Truth never looked like living up to his name when a well beaten favourite at Newmarket in the same month. Noble Deed has shown some ability in a couple of starts but preference is for one from one of the less prominent yards as TIGHT KNIT improved to finish third at Wolverhampton last time when a couple of lengths ahead of the re-opposing Charm Cry. Tebbit, Saxon Soldier and Teophilip are newcomers worth a second glance in the betting.
