      Verdict

Mambownow gets the nod over Ribh, Alsadaa, Reeling N' Rocking and Atwirl. Mambonow has had a two-month break since finishing third of six at Chepstow, and is now fitted with a first-time visor in a bid to sharpen him up. The son of Kingmambo had earlier been tried at the likes of Newbury and Newmarket and should make the most of this switch to the all-weather. Ribh has had more opportunities to shine, having also raced as a juvenile, but is taking time to get the hang of things and has looked one-paced to date. Alsadaa finished fourth to Multidimensional at Newmarket in June, form that looks good on paper, but he seemed reluctant to go about his business that day and is passed over, although theoretically, he should have the beating of Reeling N' Rocking at least on a line through Jewaar. Atwirl improved on anything she had shown previously when second in a Carlisle handicap last time, and is another that is fitted with a visor, but it is the other aid-adapted challenger Mambonow that we return to as the answer.
