In depth

Verdict

An interesting maiden with some top stables represented and we will take a chance with Rebellion, Ballet Pacifica and Blushing Thief are two live dangers. Mark Johnston's colt had three outings on the turf last Autumn and on each occasion just found a couple too good. If handling this all-weather surface he prove hard to beat. Ballet Pacifica is trained by Jeremy Noseda and has a pretty smart American pedigree. The market will probably indicate this ones chances so take note. Willie Jarvis runs Blushing Thief who is also nicely bred and has shown promise in a couple of events here in January. Improvement is probably needed to win this but he does have the scope. Amygdala and Twilight Avenger have also shown ability and may do best of the others, but on this occasion we will side with Rebellion.
