None of this lot line up in any sort of form at present, and only a small vote goes the way of Prince Dayjur over Rafferty and Samuel Charles. Prince Dayjur is not the force he once was, and is yet to find his form this year, but having finished ahead of Rafferty at Lingfield last time, giving that rival 6lb, he can at least be expected to uphold that form on 2lb better terms. Rafferty is officially rated 70 and in turn can meet Samuel Charles on 3lb better terms compared to their BHB figures. Although beaten out of sight in a similar contest here nine days ago, that was over seven furlongs, and so maybe the time is right to step him back up in trip. Mystic Man has a bit to find on official ratings, but is a course-and-distance winner and has bits and pieces of place form, enough perhaps for him to take a hand in proceedings as well. This should really carry a government health warning, and only a token vote goes the way of Prince Dayjur.
