Verdict

This trip on Polytrack brings out the best in FASTINTHESTRAIGHT and he added to his two wins at Kempton with a victory over C&D a fortnight ago. Jim Boyle's charge was a cosy two-length winner and a 7lb penalty is unlikely to prevent a follow-up. Adoyen Spice seems to prefer going right-handed at Kempton and he gets first-time blinkers today, while Sunset Boulevard has reverted to type with a couple of lacklustre efforts since a win over C&D in June. Spinning Ridge is back on a winning mark but all five of his Polytrack wins have been over shorter trips and Black Pond is still searching for that elusive first victory.
