In depth

Verdict

SILVEE may have done too much up front at Salisbury on Thursday and faded in the final stages. However, she won by four lengths over C&D last weekend and, with talented apprentice Charles Bishop on board, she's fancied to go in again. Jonnie Skull is capable at this level and Lucy Barry is another promising young rider, while Hand Painted showed a bit more when second in a seller at Brighton last time. But Desert Icon and River Bounty haven't scored since 2008 and Lord Of The Reins does his all his winning at Kempton these days.
